Planning for a Change

Are you thinking about a change or transition in your professional or personal life?

Do you want to feel more fulfilled but are not sure where to start?

I will be running a workshop on May 9 at 9 am PDT (4 pm GMT) in honor of International Coaching Week.

Join us to experience how being guided by a coach through actionable exercises can help you identify your personal guide to change. We will:

  • Examine areas of fulfillment in your life

  • Explore when you might want to start making the change

  • Discuss tips for overcoming obstacles

The workshop will begin with an overview of Intentional Change Theory. We will reflect on our ideal selves as the first step in the process of looking at the tension between our ideal and current states.

We will then do a Life Choices Wheel exercise to evaluate our current levels of fulfillment (I will link to a future post on the wheel if you want to use it).

Once we evaluate the areas of our life where we feel fulfilled, we will pick one area where don’t feel as fulfilled.

We will then reflect on what types of change we might want to make and evaluate them based on ease and impact.

Once we have one item identified, we can start thinking about what we want to do and when we want to start. We will briefly discuss the Transtheoretical Model (TTM) to help evaluate timing and identity obstacles.

We will end the session with tips for overcoming obstacles and getting started.

You will leave this interactive workshop with a basic Change Roadmap.
